that sounds like a good idea - we're lucky if teh carnival gets more than two pictures in the chad! Having a gallery would be a good thing.

I have a black and white photograph of a winning float "The Old Woman who lived in a Shoe".(I was the old woman).I think it must have been abt 1960. We took the float to other local carnivals and won there too.We also did "Heart of an English Garden" and Arabian Nights" but unfortunately have no photographs. I would love to see them.

If you have any photo's that you'd like to publish on this website, please email them to
webmaster@pinxton.org.uk.

If we recieve a number from local people, then we will invest in an online user managed gallery - so that people can add files to the website directly into a purpose built photo gallery.
